3-Person Scramble Golf Tournament

In 2024, we tried something new: hosting an invitation-only golf tournament with our corporate partners, White Cap. It was such a success that we’ve come back even bigger this year, hosting our first public golf tournament. What’s it cost, and what’s included?

The registration fee to participate is $240. This covers the participation of a three-person team, including a catered dinner and a quarter-zip shirt (if registered in time). Golf carts, mulligans, 3” string, and zero score for single holes can be purchased for additional fees. Registrations must be submitted by 7/31 to receive a shirt.

What’s the schedule?

Registration and check-in will open at 9:00 a.m., with announcements to follow at 9:30. Tee off will happen at 10:00. Dinner, auction, and presentation of awards will take place after play has concluded for the day.

Where is the tournament?

The Cameron Veterans Memorial Golf Club is located in the town of Cameron, MO. This idyllic small town is just less than an hour from Kansas City, MO along interstate 35. The golf course’s clubhouse address is:

Are there prizes?

Yes! We’re still fine-tuning the details, but hole prizes and other rewards will be given out. In addition to those prizes, we’ll also be offering chances to win a new truck and a cruise!

Can my business sponsor?

We are always seeking sponsors for our events, whether it’s the golf tournament, our 5k/10k race, or other fundraisers. For this event, we’ll offer four sponsorship tiers and their respective thank you gifts:

  • Platinum - $5,000 - three team entries, large banner at clubhouse, sponsor spot on quarter-zip shirts

  • Gold - $,1000 - two team entries, hole sponsor signage

  • Silver - $500 - one team entry, hold sponsor signage

  • Bronze - $100 - clubhouse sponsor signage

Who benefits from the tournament?

Funds raised by the tournament will go toward Hearts for RMHC’s donation fund. At the end of each year, we present a check directly to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City. These funds go directly toward that sum. Our donations are then used to provide lodging, food, community, family fun, and comfort for families whose children are receiving treatment at RMHC KC.
